About FYM Festival
Our international music festival offers a premier global platform for both music enthusiasts and professionals. We provide participants with a comprehensive international perspective on music education and performance, featuring opportunities in some of the world’s most renowned concert halls.
This two-week summer program blends the rich traditions of Chinese music with the elegance of Western classical music. With over a hundred concerts, masterclasses, and lectures, participants will be immersed in a dynamic and enriching musical experience. Our esteemed faculty, composed of professors from prestigious conservatories worldwide, ensures the highest level of professional mentorship and impactful instruction.
The Forte Yearly Music Festival is honored to collaborate with the internationally acclaimed Classic Music Awards, a prestigious music competition based in the United States, further elevating the experience and opportunities for our talented participants.
Carnegie Hall / Lincoln Center Ceremony Concerts
The top 50 applicants who passed application of the 2025 International FYM Festival will receive invitations to perform at the Carnegie Hall in NYC on 27th of July 2025 and be reported by New York Music Critics.
FYM Summer Festival Program
This festival program is designed to broaden the horizons and deepen the artistic understanding of music students through profound cultural exchange. Participants will have the unique opportunity to study both Western classical music and traditional Chinese music, experiencing the rich fusion and collision of Eastern and Western musical traditions.
With over a hundred concerts, masterclasses, and lectures, you will engage in meaningful exchanges with top international artists and professors, delving into the mysteries of music. Every selected participant will have the honor of performing on the stage of the Shanghai Oriental Art Center. The festival not only provides abundant learning and performance opportunities but also offers generous scholarships to the most outstanding students. The top ten will receive substantial financial support to further their artistic endeavors.
Music Study Abroad Consultation/Service
The 2025 International FYM Festival includes music study abroad lectures and consultations in Shanghai. We have in-person tours of prestigious U.S. conservatories and universities (August 2025), and application agency services upon request.
Our Music Study Abroad project is leaded by full doctorate team of piano, strings and voice majors. We are keeping 100% acceptance rate of music applications from Bachelor to Doctoral applications through past years.
